UK schools: Books 1 and 2 together cover the GCSE language syllabus for Eduqas and OCR. Book 3 is suitable as a Lower Sixth reader. NA schools: Book 1 covers Latin I; Book 2 covers Latin II (and some of Latin III); Book 3 covers Latin III (into Latin IV)
Books 1 and 2
Each book contains 16 chapters and contains enough material for one to two years' teaching and learning. Each chapter contains enough material for approximately two to four weeks' teaching, although there is plenty of scope for significant variation of pace, depending on the time available, age of students, etc.
Book 3 provides a gradual, theme-based introduction to unadapted Latin literature, together with further language notes and cultural topics. The NA edition of Book 3 is now available to order (use the Order menu above). The UK edition of Book 3 will be available in June 2025.
Visit our Book 3 page for more information, a sample chapter, and details of the literature, language and culture content of the book.
